A brief note

I was ready to roll this morning, but Mother Nature had her way.  It was raining when I awoke, and the forecast was for possible severe storms all day in my area of Georgia.  I checked the forecast for where I was headed in Tennessee, and the storms there were predicted to arrive in the early afternoon.  So being retired with no reason to tempt fate, I sat still and signed up for one more night here.  Of course, once I did that the storms abated and eventually the sun came out. 

I’ll give it another go tomorrow.  I could have left in the early afternoon, but I’m a morning driver and prefer not to arrive at my destination in the evening.  I truly enjoy having that option.
