Fürstin Benita zu Schaumburg-Lippe passed away in the night to Wednesday 08.05.2013 after an long illness at the age of 85. She was born in 1927 as Baroness Benita of Tiele-Winckler at Waren in Mecklenbzurg, After the End of the Second Worl War on the request of her parents she went into the West. Later she tudied biologym, the studiys she financed on her own.  At the end ofthe studies  a doctorate was awarded with the " summa cum laude " . In 1955 she married the then Hereditary Prince Philipp-Ernst zu Schaumburg-Lippe who succeeded his father as Fürst in 1952. The couple had 2 sons, Hereditary Prince Georg-Wilhelm who died after an traffic accident in 1983 and Alexander who succeeded his father as Fürst. Fürst Philipp-Erst died in 2003 after an long illness. In early 2007 Fürstin Benita had an bad traffic accident from which she never recovered full. Fürst Alexander and Fürstin Nadja Anna zu Schamuburg-Lippe recently presented their daughter Philomena who was borin  on 10. July. The presentation took recently place in the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich.  The Princess will soon be christened at Bückeburg Castel on her full name: Philomena Sylvia Huberta Amelie Juliane Vera Marie-Anna. As the Couple decied at their Wedding that sons would be chrstened evalelic and daughters catholic she will be christened in a catholic Ceremony. Fürst Alexander zu Schamburg-Lippe and his second wife Nadja, née Zsoeks have becomeparents for the second time. Ther second daughter was born on 10. July at the Hospital Dritter Orden at Munich. She weighted at birth 3750 gramms and will be named Philomena. Fürstin Nadja zu Schaumburg-Lippe, née Zsoeks is expecting her second child. This was confirmed by her husband Fürst Alexander when he attended the annual Bückeburger New Yerrs Concert. He said hie wife was not able to attend for the happiest occasion who could  be. The couple is very happy. It is theri second child together. They have already a daughter Princess Felipa born in 2008. In June 2007 i spend a few days in Bückeburg on the occasion of the Wedding of HSH Fürst Alexander zu Schauburg-Lippe and Dr. Nadja Anna Zsoeks. During this time i also visited the Mausoleum in the Park of the Castle. The Mausouleum was built from 1911 - 1915 during the reign of Fürst Adolf the last regning Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe and is the resting place of the members of the Princely FAmily. Some Family members are buried in a new Burial Ground near the Museum whichi and my friends got permisson to go into.
